About Us
Besi Tong, DMD, MSD
Dr. Besi Tong, a Northern Virginia native, graduated from J.E.B. Stuart High School in Falls Church and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Virginia. He then moved to Philadelphia, PA, to pursue his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Society and graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Tong later obtained his Certification in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, advancing his expertise in the orthodontics field.
Dr. Tong is ABO Board-certified and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Northern Virginia Dental Society.
Dr. Tong is dedicated to giving back to the community and has volunteered his time to support Give Kids A Smile Day and Mission of Mercy. Through these initiatives, he’s helped provide free dental care to underserved populations, making a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

ABO Board Certification Process
Not only is Dr. Besi Tong an orthodontist, which means that he completed 3 years of training specifically in orthodontics AFTER becoming a dentist, but he has also achieved the preeminent distinction of board certification by the American Board of Orthodontists (ABO). As an ABO-certified orthodontist, Dr. Tong brings expert knowledge and experience to our practice, ensuring you receive the highest quality of orthodontic care.
